Advocate Prabhsahay Kaur through the petition sought the direction to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the Government of NCT of Delhi and to its vendor INOX Air Products LTD to immediately supply 3000 cubit metres of LMO to Saroj Super Speciality Hospital.
Brajesh Pathak, the Uttar Pradesh Minister of Legislative Affairs, Justice, Rural Engineering, has written to the District Magistrate, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh to set up RT-PCR test centres in all wards of Lucknow constituency keeping in view the current COVID pandemic situation which is getting worsen day-by-day.
Reports suggest that as many as five million legal cases criminal and civil have been delayed by measures to fight the pandemic. That has affected everyone from advocates to judges to prisoners, litigants seeking redress and aspiring law graduates.
The main issues that came up were that the limited relief in waiving compound interest till Rs 2 crore was not enough in addressing the pain of the small time entrepreneurs who have lost all in the pandemic.
The apex court has pulled up the centre for only issuing an advisory on the use of disinfectants and UV rays on humans. It has directed the government to come up with directions to ban/regulate their use.
