Allahabad High Court dismissed a petition seeking quashing of the FIR registered at Gorakhpur's Cantt Police Station against Nafisa Gang, who is charged of extortion the implicating unknown people under rape charges and under the SC/ST Act. 

A single-judge bench of Allahabad High Court while hearing a Criminal Appeal filed by Krishnakant acquitted the accused who was sentenced to 15 years of imprisonment and fine under the misdemeanor POCSO Act and SC/ST Act in Kamasin police station area of Banda district.

A single-judge bench of Allahabad High Court while hearing an application under section 482 filed by  Bhupendra Jain and others quashed and set aside the summons issued by CJM Lalitpur in the case of rape and SC/ST Act as illegal.
