Supreme Court upholds Uttar Pradesh government's decision increasing cut-off marks for 2019 recruitment of 69,000 Shiksha Mitras, aggrieved Shiksha Mitras may compete in the next recruitment examination.

New Delhi (ILNS): The Supreme Court bench headed by Justice UU Lalit today dismissed the appeal of Uttar Pradesh Shiksha Mitras Association. One last chance will be given to the Shiksha Mitras to compete.

The Allahabad High Court has allowed Uttar Pradesh to resume the process of recruiting assistant basic teachers, provided it sets aside over half of the 69,000 posts for `shiksha mitras’ who now hold temporary jobs.
