The Delhi High Court on Friday issued a notice in an appeal filed by the father of Late Actor Sushant Singh Rajput challenging the order dismissing the petition filed seeking direction to restrain the release of films portraying the life of the late actor.

An appeal of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput's father for barring of film based on his biography adjourned by Delhi High Court. The court will now take up the matter on June 25, Friday.

The plaintiff contended that since there is an ongoing CBI investigation in the death of SSR, the fictitious portrayal of the circumstances surrounding his death will prejudice the case of the Plaintiff.

The Delhi High Court on Thursday dismissed the plea of the late Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s father Krishna Kishore Singh’s application for injunction against Sarla A Sarogi’s movie Nyay - the justice on the life and death of of Rajput. Hence there will be no stay on the release of the film.

The plea, filed by Krishna Kumar Singh, father of Sushant, through Senior Advocate Vikas Singh, was listed before the Single Judge bench of Justice Manoj Kumar Ohri.
