Social activist and filmmaker Nilesh Navlakha has filed an additional affidavit before the Bombay High Court to place subsequent additional facts on record in the case filed by him against television broadcasters conducting media trials likely to prejudice an ongoing investigation.

The Delhi High Court today directed the News Broadcasting Standards Authority (NBSA) to reply within two weeks in a plea filed by Rakul Preet Singh.

The Supreme Court bench led by Chief Justice SA Bobde today issued notice on a plea by Republic TV Editor Arnab Goswami, against a breach of privilege motion moved by the Maharashtra State Legislative Assembly. The notice was to the Maharashtra Assembly, with a response returnable next week.

Mumbai (ILNS): The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) today arrested Kshitij Ravi Prasad, who was once employed with Karan Johar’s Dharma Production. The arrest came after hours of interrogation. Kshitij was reportedly evasive during his questioning and the NCB found his answers unsatisfactory.
