A bench led by the Chief Justice Dipankar Datta & Justice G.S. Kulkarni has noted that there is no categorical prohibition imposed by the Central Government for the States to undertake a door-to-door vaccination program, for the elderly and disabled citizens.

The bench comprising Justices Ashok Bhushan, R Subhash Reddy, and MR Shah was hearing suo-motu case for Proper treatment of COVID 19 Patients and dignified handling of dead bodies in the hospitals.
