The Court ruled that no teacher shall be deployed for any non -educational purposes other than the decennial population census, disaster relief duties or duties relating to elections to the local authority of the State Legislatures or Parliament, as the case may be.

The Court held that, from the judgment of Single Judge, it appears that he has taken a view that the correctness of the key answers were beyond the purview of judicial review, and therefore, the issue raised was not justifiable in the writ jurisdiction itself.
