Uttarakhand High Court issued notice on a PIL raising a issue of highly dilapidated condition of the road in Haldwani directed all the respondent authorities, whomsoever responsible it is, including the Pey Jal Nigam to ensure that the repair work of the road in Haldwani is undertaking without any delay.
Uttarakhand High Court division bench while perusing the RTI application noted that in spite of providing the names of the persons to the petitioner, he has not arrayed them as party respondents.
While considering the PIL ,Uttarakhand High Court division bench noted from the record that though the petitioner said that he has received several complaints from different individuals of Pithoragarh and Almora but not a single complaint has been filed in the Petition.
It is brought to the notice of the Uttarakhand High Court that such a permission /license to operate a stone crusher was granted to the private respondent for a period of five years. After completion of the lease period of five years, the lease was again extended for a further ten years.
