The Delhi High Court has granted anticipatory bail to a scribe in a rape case filed against him by a 22-year-old girl.

The court also extended the interim protection granted to Hiremath till the next date of hearing, sources said further.

A single-judge bench of Justice Mukta Gupta on April 9 granted the relief, however, she clarified that the same would only be provided if Hiremath joins the investigation.
