Patel and Justice Prateek Jalan, while hearing the matter through video conferencing, stated: \u201cThis seems to be a motivated PIL against the ICAI\u2019s chief.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The petition has been filed by journalist and RTI activist Navneet Chawla and states that the&nbsp;core question involved in this case is, how can an institute transfer a huge amount in contravention of the law?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Justice Jalan stated: <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-background has-very-light-gray-background-color\">\u201cThis seems to be a motivated PIL against the chief. What is the Issue of Public Interest? How do you get into it? It doesn\u2019t fall under the four corners of the PIL. We will either dismiss it with cost or you can withdraw it.\u201d At this the petitioner said that he wants to withdraw the petition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The bench dismissed the petition as withdrawn without any condition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-right\"><strong><em>-India Legal Bureau<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A divisional bench of the court, comprising Chief Justice D.N.
