You or your junior cannot take photographs. The rule applies to everyone&#8230; Who gave you permission to take the photograph?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe can confiscate your phone. It\u2019s disgusting,\u201d the judge said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The rebuked advocate was Udit Mehra, for taking photographs with his phone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Justice Kohli asked: \u201cHow many years of experience do you have?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mehra said nine years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As Mehra apologised, the judge said: \u201cWe don\u2019t accept your apology. We don\u2019t want to hear this matter. Adjourn it.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At that point advocate Mehra said: \u201cMy junior was taking photographs.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Justice Kohli was not impressed and said: \u201cOhh, so you were clicking and he was also clicking. Great! \u201cWe don\u2019t accept any apology. Not at all. This is a virtual premise. This is Court.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Even as the lawyer kept on apologising the judge said it was a breach of court proceedings and refused to accept it. \u201cWhy don\u2019t we issue a show cause notice to you?\u201d she asked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Advocate Sandeep Mittal, for petitioners, said that Udit Mehra is a briefing counsel and because of him his clients should not suffer. But the court refused to accept it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The judge said: \u201cYour briefing counsel clicking photographs.
