The full bench of Calcutta High Co<\/a>u<\/a>rt<\/a><\/strong> has\u00a0extended the interim orders till June 30 passed by the Court\u00a0in the writ petition, reviving the\u00a0suo moto case\u00a0registered last year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A full bench of Chief Justice Thottathil B. Radhakrishnan, Justices Rajesh Bindal, I.P. Mukerji, Harish Tandon and Justice Subrata Talukdar passed this order while taking a suo moto Cognizance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The order was passed in view of the recent covid surge and restricted functioning of the High Court as well as the Subordinate Courts in the West Bengal and UT of Andaman and Nicobar Islands.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

“In view of the increase in Covid-19 cases and restricted functioning in the High Court at Calcutta and also in District Courts in the State of West Bengal and also in the Union Territory of Andaman and Nicobar Islands, we extend the interim orders passed in the Writ Petition till June 30, 2021”, the Court ordered.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
