It further directed AIIMS to ensure that all necessary approvals are revalued, from time to time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The petition was disposed of, pursuant to the statement of AIIMS being taken on record,\u00a0stating that\u00a0it will continue to ensure the STP does not cause any inconvenience to the residents of Gautam Nagar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Also Read:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.indialegallive.com\/top-news-of-the-day\/news\/delhi-govt-gnctd-act-principles-of-federalism\/\">Delhi govt moves Supreme Court against Centre\u2019s amendments to GNCTD Act, says Centre violating principles of federalism<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The petition had&nbsp;been filed by Gautam Nagar Residents Association,&nbsp;alleging that STP is being installed just 30 feet from the residential area, which may lead to health hazards for the residents nearby.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The petition\u00a0read: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-style-large td_quote_box td_box_center\"><p><span style=\"color:#dd3333\" class=\"has-inline-color\">\u201cThere is a higher risk of inhabitants being irritable and moody. There is a higher risk of gastrointestinal diseases. There is also a risk of prevalence of pathogenic airborne micro-organisms originating from the waste water treatment plant.
