Chief Justice of India Justice N.V. Ramana, who is also the Patron-in-Chief of the National Legal Services Authority, inaugurated NALSA’s office and mediation centre at the Additional Building Complex, Supreme Court along with other judges of the Supreme Court.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On November 9, Justice N.V. Ramana, Chief Justice of India and Patron-in-Chief, inaugurated Mediation Centre of Supreme Court Legal Services Committee at Additional Building Complex.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Apart from the Chief Justice Of India, Justice Uday Umesh Lalit, Judge Supreme Court of India, & Executive Chairman, NALSA, Justice A.M. Khanwilkar, Judge Supreme Court of India, & Chairman, Supreme Court Legal Service Committee and Justice Mr. Sanjay Kishan Kaul, Judge Supreme Court of India were also part of the inauguration ceremony.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Chief Justice of India, N.V. Ramana, on many occasions have expressed his views on mediation as he believes that the future belongs to mediation and law students and young lawyers need to learn the requisite skills and be at the forefront of creating the space for the establishment of Mediation, and Mediators, as a separate profession. The Court system needs full time, qualified mediators with necessary skills to convince parties to arrive at an amicable settlement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
