The Supreme Court<\/a> on Tuesday, agreed to list the appeals related to the Hijab case in two days<\/p>\n\n\n\n Advocate Meenakshi Arora mentioned the matter before the Chief Justice of India (CJI) for an early hearing of the petitions challenging the order of the Karnataka High Court to uphold the Hijab ban in schools.<\/p>\n\n\n\n CJI said to “wait a bit”. We will try to list the matter for hearing in 2 days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n A petition has been filed in the Supreme Court<\/a> against the Karnataka High Court order on the wearing of hijab to educational institutes in the state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The petition, filed by All India Muslim Personal Law Board, through its Secretary, Mohammed Fazlurrahim along with two other petitioners namely, Munisa Bushra and Jaleesa Sultana Yaseen, challenged the verdict passed by the full bench of Karnataka High Court.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Samastha Kerala Jem-iyyathul Ulama, an Islamic clerics organisation, has also filed a special leave petition in the Supreme Court against the same verdict of Karnataka High Court.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
