In a 50-year-old case, a Special Court in Lucknow (UP) has sentenced a 74-year-old man to five years in jail and a fine of Rs 5,000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Judgement was passed by Special Judge Somprabha Mishra of the Prevention of Corruption Act Court.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
While considering the age of the accused, the Court has ordered to adjust the sentence spent in jail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to Assistant District Government Advocate Naveen Tripathi, accused Narendra Dev Tiwari alias Bhangad, resident of Samethi of Lakhimpur Kheri Dhaurhara police station, was a student of LLB first year in 1972 and lived in Habibullah Hostel. MA first year student Jagdish Sharan Tripathi used to live in this hostel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
