{"id":35634,"date":"2017-09-14T18:22:08","date_gmt":"2017-09-14T12:52:08","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.indialegallive.com\/?p=35634"},"modified":"2017-10-16T14:16:35","modified_gmt":"2017-10-16T08:46:35","slug":"anomalies-in-compassionate-selection-supreme-court-orders-review","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.indialegallive.com\/top-news-of-the-day\/news\/anomalies-in-compassionate-selection-supreme-court-orders-review\/","title":{"rendered":"Anomalies in compassionate selection: SC orders review"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>Above: Government employees in Kerala\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.indialegallive.com\/topic\/supreme-court-news-india\">Supreme Court <\/a>bench of Justices Kurian Joseph and R Banumathi on Thursday (September 14) ordered that in the case of recruitment\/ transfer\/compassionate appointment in government jobs the government has to verify all the documents and submit an affidavit in which all have to be mentioned: the marks of the names of candidates and the cut-off.<\/p>\n<p>The plea is regarding 4,000 posts that are vacant in different departments but the list that has been released has certain anomalies and selection has not been fair.
