The Supreme Court on Tuesday (April 17) dealing with road rage case in which Punjab minister Navjot Singh Sidhu is key accused was informed by the Sidhu\u2019s counsel that eyewitnesses\u2019 testimonies were not credible and therefore should not be relied upon.<\/p>\n

While raising doubts about the eyewitnesses\u2019 account, the counsel told the top court: \u201cThe eyewitness said that the car was taken by the police while the police said that the car was not confiscated.\u201d<\/p>\n

Sidhu\u2019s counsel further said that no witnesses have come out in front by themselves. Instead witnesses were brought by the police who recorded their statements. And the statements of witnesses were contradictory. The testimonies of the main eyewitnesses were also contradictory to each other.<\/p>\n

The hearing of the case will continue tomorrow.<\/p>\n
