Lalu is serving a sentence after being jailed in the fodder scam.\u00a0 He had missed Tej Pratap\u2019s engagement ceremony.<\/p>\n<p>Last week an application for parole was sent to the IG Jails of Jharkhand where Lalu is lodged \u2013 he has just returned from a check-up come treatment session at AIIMS after he was declared fit to travel. Last week Lalu had moved an application for provisional bail before the Jharkhand High Court but it had been deferred to May 11 because of a strike called by lawyers.<\/p>\n<p>The marriage is later this week.
