The Delhi HC on Monday adjourned the plea of arms dealer Sanjay Bhandari and close associate of Robert Vadra seeking annulment of money laundering case against him under Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA).

At today’s hearing, Enforcement Directorate (ED) submitted an affidavit saying that Bhandari was a fugitive, proclaimed absconder and evading the process of law.

On the previous hearing, the court had asked the ED to file an affidavit on what grounds it had issued red corner notice to Bhandari.

Bhandari’s wife Sonia has also filed a separate plea in the court seeking quashing of money laundering case against her under Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA).
