Brother-in-law of Congress President Rahul Gandhi, Robert Vadra has filed an application in the Rouse Avenue court seeking permission to travel abroad.

The court said it will hear the matter on May 24.

Vadra has been facing charges in a money laundering case related to an alleged land scam in Bikaner being probed by Enforcement Directorate (ED).

In connection with the case, ED had raided several properties of Vadra in Delhi-NCR and Bengaluru and subsequently attached many properties worth crores.

ED alleges that a huge sum of money was laundered in the land deal case by people procuring land at lesser rates through fraudulent documents.
