Advocate Vineet Dhanda has mentioned at the Supreme Court for hearing of his petition in which he has demanded that the court should direct the Centre to ensure the extradition of diamantaire cheat Nirav Modi and also create a guideline for those who take loans.

This is about the Rs 11,000-plus crore LoU scam on Punjab National Bank.

The court has admitted it and the case will be heard on Friday.

The petitioner has said that there should be strict guidelines for those asking for loans above Rs 10 million.

It has also been demanded in the petition that an expert panel should be constituted to study bad loans of Rs 500 crores and above advanced by banks.

The petitioner has also demanded an SIT probe.
