Aakar Patel, the former Amnesty International India chairman, has filed an application of contempt in the Rouse Avenue Court in Delhi blaming the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) of not complying  with the 7th April court's order that direcs the agency to withdraw the Look Out Circular (LOC) issued against him

Relief has been granted to the former Amnesty International India head Aakar Patel by a Delhi court on Thursday while the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has been instructed to withdraw the Look Out Circular (LOC) issued against him.

A Delhi court on Thursday evening will decide on the petition filed by former Amnesty India chief Aakar Patel, seeking permission to travel to the United States, as well as quashing of the Look Out Circular issued  by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) against him.
