The Division Bench comprising Chief Justice Sudhanshu Dhulia and Justice Manash Ranjan Pathak heard a PIL filed by Indrajit Chakma raising concern that refugees belonging to Chakma, Hajong, and other communities living in three districts of Arunachal Pradesh are not getting food supplies.
The Supreme Court has annulled the Calcutta High Court’s order to not accept the affidavit of the state in the Narada bribery case. It has allowed Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, the West Bengal government, and state law minister Moloy Ghatak to file their applications before the high court.
