Anticipatory Bail Application

The Court dismissed the anticipatory bail application with a view that custodial interrogation of the petitioner may be required to unearth the truth.

The Allahabad High Court on January 06 held that after the lodging of FIR, the arrest can be made by the police at will and that there is no definite period fixed for the police to arrest an accused.

This order has been given by Justice Siddharth on the anticipatory bail application of Govind Mishra alias Chhotu of Phulpur, Varanasi.

The Anticipatory Bail Application has been filed by Mohd. Umar @ Makkhi, in Case Crime No. 689 of 2020, under Sections 386, 352, 323, 504, 506, 120-B I.P.C., Police Station Dhoomanganj, District Prayagraj.
