A single-Judge Delhi High Court bench directed the agency appointed for the maintenance of Sewage Treatment Plant to ensure, no inconvenience is caused to the Residents of Gautam Nagar, furthermore, directing AIIMS to ensure, that all necessary approvals are revalued, from time to time.

The Supreme Court on Wednesday adjourned hearing on a petition filed by "Utran Se Besthan Railway Jhopadpatti Vikas Mandal" against demolition of over 10,000 slum dwellers living near the railway lines in the city of Surat, Gujarat alleging demolition without providing rehabilitation scheme is illegal, inhuman and violative of Article 21 of the Constitution of India

The petition has been filed by a practising advocate in Delhi who was tested positive along with his parents but have mild symptoms and home quarantined for 17 months
