Bombay High Court judgment

Attorney General KK Venugopal on Tuesday strongly objected to the judgement passed by the Bombay High Court, which held 'skin-to-skin' contact is necessary to constitute sexual assault under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.

The Bombay High Court has recently issued notice to the authorities concerned, while hearing a PIL filed on the narrowing of an overbridge on National Highway 53.

In a temporary relief to Amravati Lok Sabha member Navneet Kaur Rana, the Supreme Court on Tuesday stayed the Bombay High Court judgment that cancelled her caste certificate.
