The Supreme Court on Friday refused to interfere with the proceedings going on against an officer of the Border Security Force (BSF), who was found in an inebriated condition during duty hours.

The Allahabad High Court has rebuked the Magistrates and Session Judges from the district of Hardoi in the Lucknow Commissionaire and rest of the state for their failure to perform their duties in securing fundamental rights as guaranteed under Article 21 of the Constitution of India.
