The division bench of Chief Justice Sanjib Banerjee and Justice Senthilkumar Ramamoorthy has sought response from the Tamil Nadu government to fill up pending vacancies across the District Commissions of the consumer forum.

The petitioner has further submitted that he seeks to espouse the cause of safeguarding public funds which are being misused by public servants in a political campaign.
