Supreme Court bench deferred the matter of petition by FMRAI seeking uniform code of pharmaceutical marketing practices by giving 8 weeks’ time to Centre to file its response.

Supreme Court bench issued notice to government regarding Uniform Code of pharmaceutical marketing practices earlier and stated, “We’ll ask the Government what they proposed to do.”

Supreme Court bench of Dr. Justice D.Y. Chandrachud and Justice Surya Kant said, “We’ll ask the Government what they propose to do.”
