The Sikkim High Court has expressed concern over the spread of Covid-19 in various care facilities and has directed the State to take immediate steps for the protection of inmates, staff thereof.

The Delhi High Court today took up the case of jail inmates misusing the court’s order of bail during Covid, granted on humanitarian grounds. The court also issued notice in an application seeking modification of its earlier order extending the interim bail of those prisoners till October 31.
