Allahabad High Court while hearing a Contempt Application gave strict orders to the High Level Traffic Committee formed in the year 2017 to study this problem and make a plan and then steps should be taken to overcome the problem.

Allahabad High Court has issued a notice to the officers of the state government and other concerned departments for non-compliance of the order passed in this regard five years ago, holding them guilty of contempt prima facie.

The Allahabad High Court on Tuesday directed the Uttar Pradesh government to fill up the vacant senior level posts of doctors in all medical colleges of the state immediately. Also the Principal Secretary, Medical Education, Government of Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow is directed to personally oversee and make sincere efforts to see that not only at Meerut and Saharanpur but in all the other state medical colleges senior-level posts are timely advertised and vacancies are filled expeditiously as it directly affects the teaching of the students.

The Allahabad High Court has directed the authorities to take a decision within a month regarding the promotion of a jail warder to the post of Deputy Jailer in Bareilly Jail.
