Kites

An advocate had moved Delhi High Court for a ban on flying kites since the use of Chinese maanjha made of nylon and other synthetic material was hurting humans and animals and birds. The court refused to ban kite flying but asked the Delhi govt to crack down on use of Chinese maaanjha.

The Calcutta High Court has directed the Kolkata Administration to strictly adhere to the notification banning Chinese nylon and plastic manjha for kites.
