Besides the threatenings of the doctors of Kasturba Gandhi Hospital on non-payment of salaries, various other petitions related to salaries and pensions of employees are also pending in the court.

The bench ,commenting on the situations, said, ''What kind of society we are emerging into, if the situation persists the day is not far when the politicians and officers will be lynched by the public at large."
