Uttarakhand High Court on bare perusal of the reliefs prayed by the petitioner held reveal that neither of the first two prayers can be granted by the Court by issuance of the writ of mandamus to the respondents.

The Allahabad High Court has come down heavily on the Uttar Pradesh police for dealing with the molestation case of a 15-year-old girl in a very casual and insensitive manner, stating that due to the careless attitude of Police, the victim committed suicide after five days of the incident.

The Allahabad High Court has directed the Director General of Police of Uttar Pradesh to file a personal affidavit on July 8, in connection with misbehaving and framing of a victim by Police in a criminal case.
