A group of Delhi High Court judges led by Acting Chief Justice Gita Mittal on Thursday (March 1) made surprise visits to district courts in Delhi. The judges name included Justices Ravinder Bhat, Hima Kohli, Sanjiv Khanna, GS Sistani, S Muralidhar and Vipin Sanghi.

This is the first such inspection this year. The inspections were conducted to find out if judges were sitting on time in the lower courts.

A similar surprise check was also conducted by Acting Chief Justice in 2017 also with the same group of judges.
