Allahabad High Court dismisses PIL seeking not to charge any fees of parking at Chitrakoot Tourist Rain Basera

The Allahabad High Court has dismissed a PIL seeking a direction to the respondents not to charge any fee of parking, halting as well as using Sulabh Complex situated at Chitrakoot Tourist Rain Basera, Sitapur, District Chitrakoot.

The Division Bench of Chief Justice Arun Bhansali and Justice Vikas Budhwar passed this order while hearing a PIL filed by National Institute Of Tourism Development Service Civil Lines Sitapur and Another.

The petition has been filed by the petitioner claiming itself to be a society seeking a direction to the respondents not to charge any fee of parking, halting as well as using Sulabh Complex situated at Chitrakoot Tourist Rain Basera, Sitapur, District Chitrakoot and quashing of the proposal dated 26.02.2024 of the Nagar Palika Parishad, Chitrakoot Dham, made in favour of Respondent No 5.

“A perusal of the writ petition indicates that the same has been filed without any basis based only on certain representations which are self-serving and have been sent by post to various authorities.

Having gone through the indications made in the petition and the annexures, no case for passing any direction of the nature as sought in the petition is made out”, the Court observed while dismissing the petition.
