The Delhi High Court has issued transfer order of 11 judicial officers, including seven Metropolitan Magistrates and four Additional Sessions Judges (ASJ), to other assignments/courts.
According to the transfer order issued on Wednesday, Additional Sessions Judge Vinod Yadav who had been hearing the Delhi riots cases, has been posted as Special CBI Judge, Rouse Avenue Courts.
Judge Yadav has been critical of the callous and farcical investigation by the Delhi police in some of the Delhi riots cases of February, 2020.

In another case, Judge Yadav had commented on the failure of the investigating agency in including scientific methods.
