Delhi High Court’s Justice A K Pathak on Wednesday (July 25) granted interim protection to former finance minister P Chidambaram August 1 on an appeal by Chidambaram for anticipatory bail. This order is pertaining to the INC media case which the Enforcement Directorate if following up.

The court said no coercive steps shall be taken against him till the next date and also said that he shall co-operate with the investigation agencies and he is not allowed to travel abroad without the court’s permission.

The next date of hearing is August 1.
