Supreme Court Refuses To Allow 9 Disqualified MLAs To Vote During Uttarakhand Assembly Floor Test

Supreme Court today refused to allow the disqualified MLAs to vote during tomorrow’s floor test in Uttarakhand assembly.

However, their plea challenging the disqualification would be now heard on July 12th, after the vacation.

Tomorrow between 11AM and 1 PM, ex-CM Harish Rawat will prove his majority inside the assembly via floor test, which would be video-graphed, and supervised as per Supreme Court’s directions.

The single bench of Justice UC Dhyani, said, “The MLAs can approach the Speaker  and file a review petition before the Speaker on their disqualification.”

Here is the order announced by Supreme Court on this matter.
