Former Haryana Chief Minister Om Prakash Chautala has appealed to the Delhi High Court for a two-month parole to visit his wife Sheh Lala, who is critically ill and is in hospital.

The hospital she is at is in Sirsa in Haryana.

Chautala is in jail, serving a ten-year sentence in a teacher recruitment scam case.

The Delhi High Court on Monday (December 18) asked the Chautala’s counsel to file a fresh medical report on his wife, of December 21 and post the matter for the same date.
