ILNS: Justice Vimla Singh Kapoor, Additional Judge of the Chhattisgarh High Court has been appointed Judge of the Chhattisgarh High Court. President Ram Nath Kovind signed this appointment and it takes effect from the day she assumes charge. A notification in this regard was issued by the Department of Justice, Ministry of Law and Justice on Wednesday.
Justice Kapoor, B.Sc. LL.B., joined the judicial service as a Civil Judge on September 3, 1987. She was appointed as an Additional Judge of Chhattisgarh High Court on June 18, 2018 for a period of two years. The period was further extended for one year from June 18, 2020.
