In the case of the ordered demolition of new structures at Amir Khusro Park, Hazrat Nizamuddin, it has been said that some old structures have also been demolished in the process.

The Delhi High Court’s division bench, headed by Acting Chief Justice Geeta Mittal on Monday (July 10) directed Waqf Board to submit the report containing the roster of repairs or maintenance done on Illahi Masjid.

The court has also directed the Delhi Police to remove the illegal encroachers from the park and outside areas, mainly from the footpaths and on the dividers opposite the park and submit the report.

The matter has been adjourned to July 24.
