To support small farmers, Punjab government to give free tractors to village panchayats

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann launched the Super Suction-cum-Jetting Machine to keep Ludhiana clean, green, and pollution-free.

Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann flagged off 50 tractors for better cleaning of sewage lines in the city. Each panchayat would receive tractors from the state government to use for cleaning and other rural tasks.

According to CM Mann, tractors will be distributed to large villages in the first phase to help them develop. Apart from aiding in village development, Bhagwant Mann said, these tractors will be useful to farmers who lack tractors for farming. According to the chief minister, the state places the most emphasis on the job, health, and education sectors.

He asserted that it is the responsibility of the state to give all of its residents home, food, and clothing. CM Mann said, under a welfare state, taxes are raised from the populace for charitable causes and then distributed to taxpayers in the form of benefit programs. The Chief Minister asserted that, despite previous Chief Ministers and Ministers’ complaints that the state treasury was empty, his administration was spending every single cent for the welfare of people in the state.

He said that there had never been a financial crisis, but that the previous government lacked vision. He promised that his government will employ all available resources for the sake of the populace. According to Bhagwant Mann, during previous governments, this money was used to line the pockets of fraudulent officials, but because his government severely closed the loopholes, they are now utilised for the benefit of the populace.

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann launched the Super Suction-cum-Jetting Machine to keep Ludhiana clean, green, and pollution-free.

The CM said that the cost of this cutting-edge super suction-cum-jetting machine for the city of Ludhiana was Rs. 1.45 crore. He said that cleaning the city’s 200 km of sewage lines will be made much easier by this machine.

CM Mann said, this device will aid in resolving the sewage issue, greatly relieving the city’s population. The BDR Branch, O&M Branch, Health Branch, Horticulture Branch, and other branches of the Municipal Corporation, he claimed, have all purchased these tractors.
