The Supreme Court will organise a Yoga event for the officers and staff members of the Registry at the premises of the Apex Court tomorrow at 08:30 am, to celebrate the 9th International Day for Yoga.
The event will be organised at the Yoga and Recreation Hall, located on 4th Floor of ‘A’ Block in Additional Building Complex of the Apex Court.
Chief Justice of India D.Y. Chandrachud and Supreme Court Judges, among others, will participate in the function.
Participation in the event would be on a voluntary basis. All the Yoga Asanas being practised during the vent would be supervised by Yoga Expert(s).
CJI Chandrachud had inaugurated the Yoga and Recreation Hall for officers/officials of the Supreme Court Registry on March 23.
After inaugurating the Hall, the CJI indulged himself in a game of carrom with fellow judges of the top court, while Justice Ajay Rastogi tried his hand at Table-Tennis.
Supreme Court judges, including Justice P.V. Sanjay Kumar, Justice Ahsanuddin Amanullah, Justice Dipankar Datta, Justice P.S. Narasimha, Justice Ajay Rastogi and Justice Pankaj Mithal, among others, were present on the occasion.
