New Delhi: The Delhi High Court today has asked the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) and Delhi Police to serve the police investigation report of encroachment into Sanjay Van to the Centre.

A bench headed by the Chief Justice DN Patel and Justice Prateek Jalan was hearing the Suo Motu petition initiated by the court on the two videos clippings being circulated on social media in relation to the alleged encroachment.

Advocate Rahul Mehra, appearing for Delhi Police, submitted that 77 Mazars are there at the Sanjay Van.

Advocate Arjun Pant, appearing for DDA, submitted: “We have also found the same thing, 77 Mazars, and we have done an aerial survey and submitted the geo-coordinates of the encroachments.”

Justice Prateek Jalan said: “You people have seen the video. Is it fabricated or correct? We have not seen it.”

Pant said: “It has been given a communal twist, but the encroachment is there.”
