A single-judge bench of Allahabad High Court while hearing a petition filed by Nisha Mishra has set aside the order of Allahabad University rejecting the demand for compassionate appointment without assigning any reason.

The Jabalpur bench of Madhya Pradesh High Court on Monday while disposing of a petition held that "the ground on which the earlier order cancelling the application for compassionate appointment has been quashed, the authorities cannot reject the subsequent application on the same ground.”

The Court clarified that married daughter is entitled to claim compassionate appointment and if she is otherwise eligible to get the same, her claim cannot be rejected by the authority.

The Indore bench of Madhya Pradesh High Court on Thursday allowed the appeal of the State Government against compassionate appointment of Mukesh Kumar.

The Madhya Pradesh High Court has made it clear that a married daughter also has the right to receive compassionate appointment. Therefore, the concerned department should resolve the complaint of the petitioner within three months
