Financial Help

The Bar Council of Delhi has suspended a lawyer's license for allegedly making a fake Covid report to get financial help which earlier announced the Bar.

With the Mamata Banerjee government of West Bengal opening up the process of holding community Durga Pujas in the state as in earlier years, disregarding a possible wildfire spread of Covid infections, a PIL has been filed in the Calcutta High Court, asking for a stay on the decision of the government.

The Karnataka High Court today has been informed about constitution of a committee headed by Senior Advocate DLN Rao for collection of funds from the advocates for the benefit of Advocates' Clerks in need of financial assistance in wake of COVID-19.
