The Delhi High Court on Monday directed the Ministry of External Affairs to look for alternative legal remedies in order to expedite the process of repatriation of the mortal remains of a Hindu man who was wrongly buried in Saudi Arabia.

The Delhi High Court on Wednesday was informed by the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) that its senior officials have recently met with top Saudi officials and efforts are underway to "expeditiously" repatriate the mortal remains of deceased Hindu man who was mistakenly buried in Saudi Arabia.

A 32-year-old Hindu man moves to Gujarat High to convert in Islam as his petition was pending from the last one year. The petitioner stated in his affidavit that he was attracted to Islam and wanted to adopt this religion.
