The Supreme Court Judge U.U. Lalit has called upon all the stakeholders to ensure that each Police Station in the country must have display boards informing about the Right to Legal Aid and the availability of free legal aid services.

The Allahabad High Court Bench of Justice U U Lalit and Justice Ajay Rastogi after going through all the facts and hearing the petitioner in person has observed that the order passed by the Allahabad High Court is on merits and there is no reason to interfere with the impugned order.

Justice U U Lalit of the Supreme Court today indicated that there is a possibility of physical hearings, in a controlled form and in limited matters, resuming in two weeks.
